Guest Blog| Ed Sheeran Experience

After the release of Ed Sheeran’s latest album Divide back in March 2017. His UK tour was announced and of course, I grabbed another pair of tickets!! I was so ready to sing my heart for an evening and party the night away to some of my favourite song from the recent album.

So makeup, clothes and the bare necessities thrown into a suitcase and I was on route to Manchester with little Luci for her birthday surprise. Buzzing off the adrenaline our train journey went by pretty quickly and we hit Piccadilly station at about 3PM. We got out the station and it was straight to the hotel on the other side of the city to get ready for the night ahead.

27th May, Etihad Stadium, 5PM

Arriving at the stadium after a short Uber ride we entered and got our arses straight to the bar (obviously) With Bulmers in hand we walked through the door to a sea of people already in the stadium and got to our standing spots which were pretty decent and not that far from the main stage.

Gracing the stage first was the lovely Jamie Lawson followed by Anne-Marie who I was absolutely stunned by singing live! With a short wait before the main attraction starts, I disappeared to the bar for more drinks leaving Luci with the crazy bunch of people we were standing with. Then the reason we were all there Ed Sheeran himself entered. The entire arena went wild as he walked the ramp and not a single person had a care in the world screaming they’re hearts out welcoming Ed to the stage.

Starting his set with Castle on the Hill I’ve never felt an atmosphere quite like it 40,000 if not more belting out along with Ed. Continuing the set there were his best sellers featuring A Team, Galway Girl, Shape of You and Sing. It was something I’d give anything to experience again because every time I look back on my time there my body just fills with joy!

The Divide tour was one of the more mundane concerts I’ve been to and I loved every second of it. Again the post-concert buzz makes me more excited for my next which is Beyoncé in June. Which of course will be another blog post after that concert.

I’ll fill the rest of this post with the pictures and videos I managed to grab but enjoy little huns!!

P.S. Once again please don’t hate on my trash filming I was a little too excited to hold my camera still

XOXO,

Dannielle
